Culinary quintessence
During an eight hour session, you will thoroughly explore a specific theme or ingredient; a discovery as full of knowledge and techniques as it is rich in flavor.
8’30 am (optional)
We can pick you up at our Be® shop (Alain Ducasse’s bakery-grocery) 73, boulevard de Courcelles, Paris (75008) and take you to Alain Ducasse training Center in Argenteuil (95100).
9’00 am Greetings
We begin the day with breakfast, a great way for you to get to know the other members of your group- your “colleagues for the day”. We then distribute your uniforms (apron, chef’s hat, dish towel) and the workshop begins.
1’00 pm Lunch
If you chose…
a cooking workshop:
At mealtime, a seated lunch allows you to try the dishes made in the morning. Our head sommelier is in charge of the wine selection and our head pastry chef offers you dessert to put a sweet touch to the end of the meal.
…a pastry workshop:
After a whole morning spent preparing sweet things, it is time to take a break to savor a meal prepared by our Chefs.
Lunch is served in a friendly atmosphere - gourmets will enjoy this ideal moment for sharing trade tips and exchanging interesting addresses or phone numbers with other members of the restaurant and culinary business.
2’00 pm Afternoon
The culinary exploration continues. The remaining recipes are prepared in individual portions for a tasting
5’00 pm Conclusion
After the last dishes prepared have been tasted, a glass of champagne brings this day of culinary excellence to a close.
